Baby Bouncer

For weeks this thing has been in the house moving from room to room.  I sit cautiously next to it, not wanting to get yelled at.  Sometimes I sniff it and rub against it, but for the most part I've been good and have left it alone.

However, last night, not of my own doing, I was picked up and set in here.  I've gotta say, it is pretty sweet.  I'm not really sure what all the movement was about, but I was pretty content just sitting there for a while.

Until I got booted of course.

Really, what's that all about?  Why the hell would you put me in the comfy chair and then kick me out only 3 minutes later.  What a tease!

I would post the cute video my mom took, but for some reason blogger won't let it upload.  Here's a picture.

I claim it

Check out this cool new riding carrier my parents bought me.  I mean, I assume it's for me, why else would they bring this thing into the house?  The bottom is big enough to fit comfortably but small enough for me to feel safe and cozy.  No idea what that top part is for.  Seems too high for me to jump in.

Smaller and Smaller

No, not her, she's getting bigger by the minute, but look at that lap, I'm starting to run out of room here!

I'm just waiting for that thing to kick me at any moment.

Malachi Cat

Hi. I'm Malachi, aka Malachi The Cat, aka Malachi Cat.

Yes, I am named after that horrible child from Children of the Corn. My mom hated the movie but loved the name, and realizing she could never name her child after said character, I was the next best thing.

I live with my mom and dad in Houston where I stay inside and spend my day on top of the fridge or on the window ledge. It's my first blog and all, so I'll keep this one short and give you a quick glimpse into my life.

Yep, that's me. Horrible isn't it. Unfortunately I have about 6 more of these stupid costumes laying around the house. Mom thinks it's "cute." I hate the things, as you can tell, but I've learned that if I just sit still for a few minutes and let her take the stupid picture, then I'll get some pretty good treats afterward. I gained like 3 pounds after the Christmas photo session. :-/

Well it's rub down time and then sleep for the night. I get a good 10 minute petting each night by my dad then I wait until Mom is asleep to go to her side of the bed. I've learned if I get there too early she'll try to grab me; it's best to wait a few extra minutes to be sure.

night.
